In the summer of 2021, a flood destroyed all my personal belongings. Most of my artworks and my art collection also fell victim to the floods. On that day, I decided to only work with digital art that is minimalistic and that I can access and share anytime, anywhere.

"city globuli" is a limited series of 999 artworks and a tribute to all the cities of the world that let me be local on my travels in a global world. Overall, my memories and experiences are not "sharp" in every respect. That's why the city globuli are not produced with high-resolution technology, but deliberately with a "retro look".
